How to Block Google DNS on Belkin Router

  1. Go to http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.2.1
  2. Enter the default username and password admin/admin
  3. Click on Static Route which you find under LAN Setup. Please note that some routers don't have this option. In that case you won't be able to use this router for blocking DNS.
  4. Add the following to the list:
    Network Address: 8.8.8.8
    Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.255
    Gateway: 127.0.0.1 or 192.168.0.100 or another valid IP from your network.
  5. Click on Add
  6. Repeat the above for the IP 8.8.4.4 as well
  7. Restart the router to apply the settings
